April 13, 2008!
We will be starting the day off with a special service that will
include our Bishop, and former Pastors.
We will then continue the festivities with a banquet at
Panos' Char House,
located at
20290 West Bluemound Road, Waukesha.
If you are interested in being a part of the banquet, adults
have a choice of either Tenderloin Tips or Rotisserie Chicken at
a cost of $20.00 each. (This price will include gratuity
as well as the room rental fee.) (Let us know if a
Vegetarian option or any special dietary orders are needed).
Children under the age of ten may order a children's meal that
includes Chicken Strips and French Fries for a cost of $10.00.
There will be a maximum cost of $60.00 per household to attend.
The 60th anniversary committee will have a table in the narthex
starting Feb 3rd. to take orders. Checks or cash MUST
accompany your entree' selection. If you prefer to mail in
your request, please note what we need to know exactly which
entree' goes to each individual. Checks MUST be included
with all mailings.
The theme for the anniversary is "This Far By Faith".
This theme will be included on two fundraisers. Our committee
will be selling Gethsemane shirts as will as tote bags in the
upcoming weeks. Proceeds from the shirts and bags as well
as sales from the Gethsemane DVD will help offset costs with our
celebration. We will be looking to Thrivent Financial
Services to match funds for these sales as well.
So please mark your calendars for April 13th because it just
won't be the same without you! It will be a time to reflect on
wonderful memories with old friends as well as meeting and
making new friends. We look forward to a wonderful
celebration and want you to be a part of it.
